emotion

In Senior Studio I got the opportunity to create any project I wanted. I decided to do a series that explored emotions and how I could showcase them in art form

love

this project was about the emotion of love. as you can see on the left side there is a side profile of a face. this resembles having love for a particular person. this was a mixed media piece. it won awards in high school air fairs. It is now displayed in the Hospital in the cardiac clinic in Carroll, Iowa.

anxiety

this project was about the emotion of anxiety. Anxiety causes a person to feel restrained in their own fears. for this mixed media project I molded this skull and added colored string.

stuck

this project was about the emotion of feeling stuck. this is a mixed media project with the use of a barbie, fabric, hand-made paper, and paint.

mixed emotions

this project was about having mixed emotions. The face being black grey and white, being influenced in the other colors around.

masking emotion

this project was about masking your true emotions. putting on a happy face when you may not feel so happy on the inside.
